NEW ZEALAND TOUR RATING

Canadina Rockies Hiking Tours - Mountain Paths of Banff & Yoho hiking tour: modertate hiking

Moderate hiking, 4-7 hours per day; easy canoeing options (no experience necessary)

"The New Zealand South Island hiking adventure was fantastic in every way. Our lodges and food were wonderful, and there was lots of variety in what we did. Our guide encouraged us to try everything, and we did!
- Louise Lang, New Zealand Hiking Tour

New Zealand is a country of rare beauty, where glacial mountains, fast-flowing rivers, deep lakes, and hissing geysers abound. There are also many forest reserves and long, deserted beaches to discover. New Zealanders are proud of the natural beauty of their land, and enjoy welcoming visitors with their characteristic Kiwi charm. It is with a spirit of adventure that we dive into the natural playground of the South Island. We sample firsthand the diversity of New Zealand's natural treasures, traveling the mountain paths of the Southern Alps. At day’s end we are rewarded with scenically situated wilderness lodges and fine hotels, and feasts of fresh seafood and delicious regional specialties.
