Backcountry hiking in the jaw-dropping beauty of the Canadian Rockies – immense, snow capped peaks; endless forest; gushing rivers; and vibrantly colored lakes.

This unique exploration of the famed Canadian Rockies offers the best of all possible worlds. We have chosen a cozy, intimate lakeside lodge to come home to after days of hiking in Banff and Yoho national parks. Then, after a few days in the valleys amid beautiful mountains, we board a helicopter that whisks us off to a tranquil backcountry lodge. Here we discover the true depth of the Rocky Mountain wilderness. We move at our own pace during these days, stretching our legs over challenging ridgeline trails with incredible views of hidden valleys, or meandering through glorious meadows brimming with wildflowers, lingering now and then to watch eagles soaring high above. Listen carefully; this is the way the world was meant to sound.
