At Boundless Journeys, our goal is to connect you with the very best qualities of each destination through unique and active adventures. We do not subscribe to any one mode of travel and we choose our destinations based on the richness of its culture, attractions or natural beauty—not because it is the destination du jour.
Some places are classics (Peru, Italy, Tanzania), and some may be less familiar (Palau, Bhutan). No matter where we go, we leave the traditional tourist routes to others, so you can discover the special highlights of each region and enjoy experiences that are far from the beaten path. Plus, our itineraries are designed to be appropriate for anyone who is reasonably fit and has an adventurous spirit.
So regardless if you are an experienced hiker or kayaker—or are completely new to these activities and active travel, in general—there is a Boundless Journeys tour that is just right for you.

I love traveling with you, as you know. And to go the extra mile for me as far as leaving for the airport on the last day a tad early, means the world to me. I have met many wonderful people on my journeys with you and am so glad I looked up a trip to Iceland and ended up in Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam. (long story). And then Iceland, Ireland, Africa, and now Costa Rica. You do know how to treat repeat customers. Best to you all!
We were very impressed by the reliability of everyone who had a part in making our trip work: connections seamless, staff at all locations were caring and really appeared to care about our welfare and that we have a good experience in their city or country. The guides sincerely shared all kinds of info, games, books, experiences. The guides presented lots of unexpected delightful surprises such as walking in rice fields, serving picnic lunches, searching for birds, etc. Restaurants chosen were funky, elegant, unusual – an undo variety. Thank you for the many wonderful experiences!
Each day ended with total satisfaction...of course the hike to the Tiger's Nest was THE event but walking through the rice fields, watching Kinley interact joyously with his fellow Bhutanese and his living Buddhism as just a way of life often moved me to tears. If I were to write about the journey I experienced my title would be "Moved To Tears"... he could not do enough for us.
Karen Cleary was phenomenal. She put together a fantastic trip on a very reasonable budget. I have already referred two friends to her, and I will absolutely be coming back for future trips.
